Shops with scraps to spare
Cafés, coffee shops, bakeries, fruit stalls, dessert shops… register yourself, or our volunteers will come and ask.
Peel, grounds, eggshells, veg trimmings — pre-consumer scraps always exist and are the easiest to reuse, yet almost nobody handles them. We’re building an open map: which shops will give them away, and who can use them.

| Type | Who handles it now | Best route |
|---|---|---|
| Expired / near-expiry food | Food Angel, Green Price, Foodlink | Redistribute for people to eat |
| Pre-consumer scraps | Hardly anyone | Compost, feed, crafts ← us |
| Plate waste | O·PARK, GREEN@COMMUNITY, recyclers | Reduce first; recycling is the fallback |

Farmers, home composters, makers, workshop leaders, black soldier fly farms.

⚠️ Everything on the map is for non-food uses (compost, feed, crafts) — it is not food donation. For edible food, please contact a food bank or Food Angel.
Whether you have scraps to give, need them, or want to volunteer as a sentinel — get in touch.
